The whole point of this lamp is that it’s not in your face, but it is at the same time. It’s meant to draw attention and repel it simultaneously. I placed it on top of my fridge for now. The fridge is metal and the lamp is magnetic, it’ll be fine up there. 😌
For starters, there is platinum involved. I have dropped mine straight from out the box and it survived. Another thing is that the light it emits can be very bright. It will give you the exact glow you need and is adjustable.

I didn't think it would be this bright for a single piece of filament. I've been using it for walking around at night since my new apartment doesn't have a lamp yet. My one complaint is that the inside of the glass gets scratched up after a while because of the metal bead inside knocking around. Quite a fast turnaround time though. It took about 7 days to arrive to the UK.
1. I don't like that this lamp doesn't come with some kind of strap or holder. It is portable, but I feel like at this price point it could've included some kind of heavy duty carrying case that shows the light without covering it. It does come with a white carry pouch, but that's not what I'm talking about here.
2. Where is the remote 🥲. This lamp can easily light up a small room past a certain hour of the day, buttttttt...no remote. I have to drag my 13 stones of a body out of bed to turn it off. Great as a closet lamp if you're in need of one ever...
3. Another reviewer had mentioned how the inside of the glass is easily scratched by the metal bead so I knew what to expect. I don't like scratches on things but it was the trade off I had to pay for a somewhat decent lamp.
3/5 here, not bad, not great but could easily be better.
